IEEE CEC 2027 will host Journal-to-Conference (J2C) Paper Presentation sessions, providing authors of recently published journal papers with an opportunity to present and discuss their work with the evolutionary computation community.

J2C presentations are presentation-only. The accepted journal article remains the archival publication, and no new paper will be published in the IEEE CEC 2027 conference proceedings or uploaded again to IEEE Xplore.

Eligibility

Applications are invited for journal papers that meet all of the following criteria:

The paper has been accepted in an IEEE journal sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society

The paper first appeared in IEEE Xplore, including Early Access where applicable, within the two years preceding IEEE CEC 2027

The paper is within the technical scope of IEEE CEC 2027

The paper has not been previously presented, is not currently under consideration for presentation, and has not been submitted for presentation at another conference, congress, symposium, or workshop while under consideration for IEEE CEC 2027

Submission Requirements

Authors should submit a one-page J2C presentation proposal via https://edas.info/N35695, selecting the J2C track. The proposal should include:

  • the title and full author list of the published journal paper;

  • the journal name;

  • the DOI and a direct IEEE Xplore link to the published paper;

  • the date of first appearance in IEEE Xplore, including Early Access if applicable;

  • a short abstract; and

  • a brief statement highlighting the originality, main contributions, significance, and relevance of the work to IEEE CEC 2027.

Selection and Presentation

J2C submissions will be checked for eligibility, relevance to the scope of IEEE CEC 2027, and suitability for the technical programme. Accepted J2C papers will be scheduled for oral presentation in dedicated J2C sessions during the congress.

At least one author of each accepted J2C presentation must register for IEEE CEC 2027 at the required registration rate and present the work at the congress.
